Released: HH Ravager Drone [Commercial]

Get it HERE!

The Ravager Drone is fully rigged and poseable with 6 legs, 2 arms, a cowl, and an extendable mouth head with severing mandibles. This creature comes with a handful of full-body poses and some material variations to add some striping variations and blood.

Note: I may add an add-on product for the Ravager such as a Queen, Eggs, Hatchlings, and battle damage versions in the future.

Awesome stuff!  Was this inspired by the Paul Verhoeven version of Starship Troopers by any chance? There does seem to be a family resemblence between this and his bugs.

I'm sorry to hear that it will be your last monster for a while, though.

    Cheers,

    Alex.

  • The only Starship Troopers I have seen is the original version and these are inspired by those. They're not meant to be related though. I just wanted the classic style of the crustacean/spider legs that gives it that bug look.

REALLY nice, HH! Looking forward to it.

Also, if you look up Starship Troopers bug, you'll see that other than the general design of 'multilegged giant insect,' a lot of the details are different. The head, for example, is RADICALLY different.

    Whaaa?

Might mean more time for dinosaurs!? Will be picking this and the Trike up at launch. Holy hell does this spider/crab/hybrid look awesome! Your possible future options of Queen would be most welcome. May I suggest some egg casings, and husks of dead beings strewn about too. Love your work!

I agree. I dont have any of HH's non-dinosaur models in my library yet, but this creature is giving me some inspiration of the Skull Island kind (Peter Jackson King Kong; havnt seen the latest Kong movie yet).

Don't miss Kong: Skull Island. It's worth it for Brie Larson alone. The monsters are really spectacular but they can't compete with the siren Brie.

    Cheers,

    Alex.

The Ravager Drone looks amazing and it would fit perfect into this environment in my opinion:

I hope that you will create the add-on and a "brain bug" could be a part of this add-on, too.

Favorite Kong heroine will always be the Fey Wray. Dont watch much modern Hollywood films these days. Might watch it someday for Samuel L Jackson, though. I am also tempted to pick up HH's two dinosaur-insect hybrids to go along with the Ravager. They look awesome, but i dont know what to do with them.

  • Delightful and very intrigued to see the Queen and other versions!

Can those lengthy antenna-type things at the rear of the head be hidden?

On a related note, I'd still like to see some Iray-compatible cocooned human victims to paste against walls for horror-themed renders and those might be a suitable product for this series. Especially if they can take a Genesis figure to freely pose as required.

SWEET, looking forward to this.  Would love to see a "drider" version down the line.

Oddly enough, when I saw the title of the particular introductory sale this product was prominantly featured in...

....the first thing that came to mind was THIS SONG:

I simply love your monsters. There is nothing cutesy about them. I can put them with realistic humans and they look just as real.

Now, I will get down on my knees and beg you to do a beholder. A fearsome, spiky beholder.
