thanks. :) I'm thinking of making atleast 4 different texture sets with different maks and colours for the staff as well. Also some custom poses to go along with the outfit that are more like with doctor like. :)

  • Is that intended to be for your own use, a freebie, or a commercial set?

It will be a commercial set, if Daz studio will accept it. :) Is this the correct fourm to showcase what I am working on commercially or not?

Ya I think its fine, if its not, one of the mods will move it to where it belongs.  Will be watching with interest!

  • Yes, as long as it is aimed for the Daz store it's OK.

  • Yes, hoping to have it completed soon, and will submit it for PASS aproval. :)

Here is an update on the outfit. I wanted to try out a texture on the character skin for Gen 8. However I am not totally sure what the selling aspects are about using gen 8 skins in my outfit product. is it legal? They would be a basic texture of legs arms torso and face, in a seprate directory and would only be used as a material preset.

Any help on this topic would be greatly apriciated. :)

    Nice outfit

For the body paint you could use the diffuse overlay layer or use a geometry shell which would mean te paint could be used on any skin.

Are you going to make it dforce, as the skirt in the image above looks a bit weird.

  • yea I could make it dforce, thats a great Idea.

  • So here it is with Dforce added to a new skirt. and scorpio, thank you so much for the tip about the diffuse overlay. It works perfectly. Thank you everyone for all your sugestions and help. One problum I am having with the Dforce skirt, every time I put her in a pose as like the one you see with her squating, the skull that is hanging down prevents the skirt from falling down and so when I simulate, I get the front of the skirt bunches up and it looks bad.

Does anyone know how to make the skull not registared by the simulator or Dforce?

The image with her squating. the only resion why it looks good is because I added the skull and belt after the simulation finnished. otherwise it would look bad. Here it is with the Dforce done while the skull belt is on.

  • does anyone know what Dforce addon is for?

  • does anyone know what Dforce addon is for?

A dForce add on can be used to support the clothing, it doesn't need (in the 4.11 beta) to be more than polyline or (for 4.10) a simply polygon that has vertices coincident with vertices in the main dForce item. Since collision for dForce Add-ons accounts only for the vertics you can safely have "bad" geometry, such as criss-crossing quads holding a tube open.

ok cool. well when I applied the dforce addon to my skull, it helped allow the cloth of the skirt fall smoothly behind it when siulations, but if I take the addon off the skull, then when I do a simulation the cloth skirt rids up and bunches up behind the skull.

  • Hmmm...

Is it Amazon because it comes from the South American jungle, or because she's a female warrior, or because she got it mail-order from a certain online retailer?

    Nice outfit though.

    thanks : )

Amazon because it comes from the South American jungle. However the outfit is loosly based off of concetp art pieces found around the web from differtent artists of witch doctors. So its kind of my own design. :)

if you look at my products, I have already created a Amazon worrior outfit, so this one is a witch doctor outfit.

I have had your amazon warrior for a while but just tried using it, I loaded in the Bikini and it reset the poses of the figure which I had spent rather a long time creating so I'm not particularly happy, the full set seems to have the same problem and it also returns the figure to the 0,0,0 conordinates.

Are you aware of this, has anyone put in a ticket and its just been ignored, there is no way I would buy again from a vendor whose products do this.
