I have no idea why the HW3D housecat after edit convert to general weight and the G8M Chimpanzee sync in animation but nothing else does
the HW3D housecat also syncs in a LAMH animtion
the mystery deepens
sadly after 12 hours 90 frames 3Delight crashed my computer sucking all my RAM as it will I awoke to a desktop full of error dialogues and had to force restart
a second attempt worked too
this is driving me nuts
sadly nobody else on this forum renders LAMH animations in 3Delight using curves
I tried AM's Raccoon again converted to general then Blended weights
applied exactly the same animation as the HWcat and it won't sync in render
it does however render very fast for some reason
got the fox fur to sync after converting rigging
saving a new preset
and parenting it
I may not need all those steps I need to test variables but it's working
I have my answer and it is really bizzare
The HW3D cat with it's hair preset has to be in the scene animated!!!
I can click all the eyes off and hide it but it drives the syncing of any other LAMH figure I add
quite a few LAMH furry things in this little animation
DAZ studio does have a tendency to crash though as it uses all my RAM with the cat furred also loaded albeit hidden, but indeed other creatures fur syncs with animation if it is present in the scene.
koala video
Some great animations going on here Wendy!!
thanks
am building up a collection of animals to composite into my scenes
having another go at the wolf because this one ended prematurely
apparently hair on G8F syncs in animated renders too, but I am a lousy stylist
and Genesis 3
and if genesis 3 with hair is in the scene with just a bit of hair I can hide her and also sync LAMH furred animals doing poses as a rendered animation
so the Dual Quartenian definitely is part of the solution but won't work applied to the target figure
the RAM usage still ramps up until DAZ studio crashes at between 100 to 200 frames varies with complexity of fur/hair and figures used
I am rendering too many videos now I have discovered the secret
might get in hot water so better work on a much longer more involved one I can post after a few days and not make this thread too bumpy
well I have finally solved the syncing I think on everything
every frame needs a keyframe on figure and hair
creating an aniblock from studio keyframes then baking to the timeline will do this
which is just as well as the strand based iray hair is not only slower to render but it looks like this !!!!!!!!!!
OK I have a new problem
today I bought 32GB of RAM
LAMH animated always ran out of RAM syncing but I could get at least 10 frames before it did
now
DAZ. studio renders 1 frame then stops responding
it gets to 16GB but I have 32 so has not run out yet
its just stuck cannot cancel or anything
killed it twice in task manager and started over, same shnitz
Take the old ram out and leave the new ram and see if it is showing up. It might be bad ram or it isn't inserted properly.
oh it shows and OMG insertion was a right pain for one stick in the previously unused lane
took a few goes computer wouldn't even boot sometimes until I got it right
my first frame renders perfectly
I had issues before hence buying the RAM, it's something LAMH does syncing in renders not my hardware
if it doesn't sync it will render quite fast
and
I can browse and everything too which no way could I do before using 3Delight as have RAM to spare
it was still starting on frame 2 at 22GB of RAM so I killed it again
I fear this will never be fixed now Kendall Sears has passed
nobody else has ever shown an amimated LAMH render so I have to accept it is really not possible to do unless you render a frame at a time not a series
