It's the end of the world as we know it! The new Now-Crowd Billboards - Undead Horde will fill your apocalyptic wastelands and dystopian futures FULL of the hungry undead in high quality, flexible and easy to use billboards... perfect as a backdrop for the main action that you add! The new Now-Crowd Billboards - Undead Horde contains more traditional depictions of zombies as slow undead hordes risen from the grave wandering post-apocalyptic wastelands for brains and other goodies to eat! The complementary Now-Crowd Billboards - Zombie Apocalypse contains the more modern version of zombies where a plague has spread quickly turning our modern easy life into a desperate struggle for survival. Use both for a truly massive crowd of scary zombies and undead!

Billboards are a fantastically quick and resource easy way to add background crowds to your scenes. These pre-rendered elements are great to play the background characters in your scene. The Now-Crowd Billboards improves on standard billboards by providing 72 different views for every billboard figure. Change a billboard figure to 12 different horizontal angles and 6 different vertical angles. When your camera moves, the Now-Crowd Billboards can be changed to match!

There are also great scripts to make these billboards easy to use! There is one script to turn the billboards to face the camera and another script to change billboard figure angle based on horizontal and vertical orientation. Finally, there is a script that pushes your billboard directly away from your camera view or pulls it towards you.

For Iray and 3Delight

No figures are included with this product.

No other products are needed to use the Now-Crowd Billboards - Undead Horde.

Note that Now-Crowd Billboard products are large (> 10GB) because of the many textures (72 images per figure x number of figures) and can take a while to download.

Yup! Ill be buying this. It looks really fun.yes

Now, am I understanding this correctly? you took multiple angles of each zombie so that you could simulate a 360 degree range of poses?

Zombie have changed from needing brains to wallets.  smiley   "Uuuuuuhhh, need more wallets..."

I couldn't decide which type I wanted (I actually started this one over a year ago) so eventually I just did both and will let you decide! laugh

Not sure I understand what you mean by "simulate a 360 degree range of poses"  Each billboard is ONE pose (and ONE zombie/undead) with 72 camera angles on that pose.

Maybe AnotherUserName is shocked by your extravagance because he doesn't know that this is just the way you roll, the only way you know how to rock.

    LOL smiley

  • The promos for these two products were a lot of fun.  The truck through the city is my favorite.

Thanks for these two releases helps me get ready for Resident Evil 2 remake coming out in a few days was one of my favorite games way back when. (geez I am old)

  • You're only old if you know where this line came from:

“You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here.”

    Ha I remember that to

  • Ah yes, back in the days when if you had 640K of RAM you made a virtual drive out of part of it because 640k was way more than you needed ;)

To get back on topic, picked up both sets, hope to play with them in scenes this weekend.  At some point I am going to retire and have a lot more time for this stuff ;)

Not zombies per se but fleeing humans is planned.

Sweet! Id really like to see some soldier variations as well. Everything from soldiers using coordinated fire and advancing to soldiers retreating. That then can lead to soldiers breaking and panicking followed of course by soldiers being eaten and turning. Please use any of these ideas you like.

  • This is really fun. The only note that I have is that it would be nice if I could also handle X,Y movement in the script in addition to the Z movement. I would absolutely by an add on pack that had more zombies, mutants, etc.

Not a bad idea smiley  When I made the script, I was only concerned with how hard it was to move in and out.
