FBX Export help

Hi
How do I export a morphed Genesis figure from Carrara 8.5 as a FBX file?
Whenever I dial up Hitomi and export from Carrara as a fbx the resulting file imports into 3ds max as the base genesis shape and the same thing happens when I import it straight back into Carrara. In the case if 3ds Max I also get some kind of bind pose & skin modifier error as well.

Any help is appreciated

    I may as well post this question here as well.
    Is it possible to take the animation from an imported FBX of Genesis and turn it into a NLA Clip that will work on a genesis figure added to the scene normally through the content browser?

    I still haven't gotten FBX files exported from Carrara to work correctly (and still want to figure out how to) but Fbx files exported from Daz studio work fine so I've taken a animation into 3ds max, added some spring effects and imported it into Carrara but I can't seem to turn the animation into a NLA or even a BVH file that will work with a Genesis figure added via the content browser.
