Sticky for Daz Studio configuration?

I am new to Daz Studio and have been searching for a simple guide to initially configure the product.

Installation is a no brainer - select the 32 or 64 bit and run it...

The problem I having is with the content...I used the downloader to download the content and install but it doesn't seem to have installed properly. I found a post the "rebuild" the content database and that seemed to help a bit but additional issues cropped up.

Long story short, does anyone have a guide to properly configure that program for first time install; and can this guide if it exists be a sticky so that it is easy to find.

If you try the New Users help forum, you may be surprised what already exists, and most of those are already Sticky threads
