Download Error - Firefox

I'm getting this error when downloading? (Not just this site)

Downloading is fine using IE, but I prefer Firefox. It doesn't happen with every download, but often enough to become annoying.
Running Win8 & Firefox V24.0

    I'm on FFv24 on my mac, I'm DLing like a fool at work and they block everything.

    Plug ins?

    Thanks for the reply.
    I'll have to start disabling some of my plugins one by one and see if that helps.

    Have you tried using Google Chrome for download purposes only?
