Validate Button

What does hitting validate every time you make a change to the geometry actually do? Sometimes I remember to hit validate, sometimes not, but I never notice any difference in the outcome.

Although the accept button is always present, you don't need to press it for procedures that require only 1 step.  There are some modeling operations (tools) that have intermediate modes, and that's when you need to press accept to finish the procedure. The more you use Hexagon, the more you'll realize when it's needed.
