Particle Effects on Carrara 8.5 Problem

Hey all,

Has anyone had issues with particle effects on Carrara 8.5 Pro? After a couple of previews, none of the settings take effect any more. My particle size is ignored as well as things like particles per second, shape, velocity. In fact they all revert to the default setting when I drop the particle emitter in the scene. Settings show on the screen and animate correctly in the preview, they just don't take effect in the 3D View or when I render.

In desperation I went back to 8.0 Pro and everything works great, so it's not something I'm doing wrong.

    Ouch! Do you have a file you can send in to ZenDesk as a bug report? This must be fixed!
