Spike artiacts on shoes from Shanghai Style in Poser via DSON

The shoes with Shanghai Style for Genesis are connected by thin spikes when loaded in PP2014 via DSON. Has anyone else seen this?

The spikes stay connected, but are not otherwise affected by moving the foot or toe actors

    I was playing around, and was able to fix this issue by loading the shoes, converting to Poser Unimesh Skinning, and saving to the Library as a cr2 The Transfer Active Morphs script works on the saved cr2 when conformed....

    Since the spikes don't appear in the renders in that thread, Kerya, and go away in Poser when it is saved as a cr2, I suspect it's an issue with the DSON Importer.

    As an aside, the button loops (which is where the spikes actually originate) have thousands of polygons...
