Denoiser?

err like what happened to this in 4.10 there seems to be no iteration slider?

also any idea what settings are best for the replacement one?

    If you are referring to the Denoiser feature in Render Settings, I believe it was added in 4.11, and so is only available, currently, in the beta, not in 4.10 release version.

    Or is this something else?

    Older versions do have a denoiser option, but it doesn't have the controls of the new AI Denoiser in DS 4.11+. Noiser Filter Enable is in the Filtering group in the Editor tab of Render Settings, when On it shows sliders for Noise Degrain Filtering, Radius, and Blur Difference.
