the polygon count is at 40K not bad
i think i wont wind the strings around the uh what's it called
so ... i'll just improve material names and post the prop !
after supper i guess
Looks awesome Casual!
thanks !
almost there, i did the materials naming chore , there's a lot ... but i think people will want to get very specific looks for their guitars
1 - blender cycles render
2 - Daz Studio software render
this will be the default ,materials, Daz Studio software render ( using reflection maps for chrome / brass / varnish )
Very clean looking work. What program do you model in?
these days i try to stay and learn in Blender
Ah yes, used that earlier this year to fix an outfit I made but now I have the fixes down in ZBrush so won't have to go there again until I'm ready! lol
it's ready ! woohoo :)

GOT IT> Thanks so much!
welcome
note that there's also amplifier stack and a stratocasterish guitar on the site and a very difficult to use guitar strap
Holy Smokes!! Great axe you've made there. I'm a big fan of the animation help scripts. Looks like I'm a big fan of your Prop files now too. Wink wink, I have others from you but MAN this is nice. Thank you very much.
welcome thanks!
next one may be a violin though the priority is the bullet physics tricks followed by uhh the lattice deformer and then kinect etc etc etc
Thank you Casual.
Looking forward to what you will do for classical strings [cough] chello [/cough]
Thanks Casual. Appreciated.
Superb timing! I was just in the midst of thinking "I need a guitar prop" for a render I am now in the middle of! Thank you :)
Looks great. Thanks!
wekcome!
mainly the fault of friends on facebook posting photos like this .... just when i was looking for excuses to not work on ongoing daz script projects :)
welcome !
eventually i may add the finger guard thing, i hope it's not something that jumps at owners of real life owners :)

I'm still playing with the lighting (it's a vampire so needs to be at night!), but one of my tests came out like this. My intent is to do two, similar scenes and put them up side-by-side - 'this' one (set in modern times) and another, set in the past with him carrying a lute instead and the clothes being of the period and the lighting being candles not electric lamps
.
Wow! Thank you so much.
maybe next spring i'll finish and post this dress
yeah it looks a bit like ... where did you see that
coming up tonight ! a few minutes from now !
a version of the mcjGibGit with a pick guard
It's ready !!!
the mcjGibGitB which includes a pick guard and new button texture images
( so you want the old too since it has other textures like burnt-something )

Thanks, Jacques, snagged it. Very nice. I may do a new texture, not because there is anything wrong with yours, but because I am put in mind of something from years ago. I was browsing in a guitar shop and they had a Les Paul that made me do a doubletake. It had a plain wood body with a mat finish - no fancy lacquer or perfling, just a plain brown wrapper sort of thing. It just said, "I mean business". I would have snapped it up right then and there, but, alas, no money for expensive new toys back then. So maybe I can have a virtual one now, even if I can't play it. :) Thanks again.
You are such a useful resource for the community. Daz should really employ you to make DAZ studio animation tools better. You provide so many essential features that should be included in the DAZ studio release. Keep up the good work!
Quiet you fool! Do you want stop getting these amazing add-ons for free!?!?!?
Seriously Cas, your tools are in my actions list and DS would be a much larger PITA without them.
