Does anyone have a good source it how to make a Great Missile /Rocket exhaust with the particle admitted. I want to show an old Vietnam era SA2 Missile launch, It is very fats and energetic. I am pretty sure the Magic will be in the SHADER. Like Transparent to Yellow hot to red to Grey smoke

One thing I forgot to ask,
What kind of rocket we are talking about?
You have rocket (missile), Solid rocket booster (like the old shuttle)
Depending on the one you do, I would use a lot of reference because of the fuel use and the nozzle exhaust differ from type to type.
A lot create very big clouds. (like this http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=shuttle+take+off&FORM=HDRSC2 )

Here is another quick test I did, following the tutorial.

What I did differente here is that I put a Color Gradient with the shader set to particle shader. (Age)
The color in the Color gradient starts with white, and at 0,06 to yellow and then at 0,1 to black.....
