Help! How on earth do you register at Art of Poser? I am in a circle- I fill out the registration page and get a page that says I need to accept terms, click accept and am back in the registration page!!!

I just clicked on the registration link, accepted the 20 some odd page list of terms, filled out every field on the registration page, including the one at the bottom, and clicked the "senden" button. I got the email, clicked the activation link and logged in. However, when I tried to click on anything, including my profile, it said I wasn't allowed to access it because my account wasn't activated. Yet, if I clicked on the activation link again, it said my account was already activated!

Logging out and back in again cleared that issue. I finally got to the calendar, clicked on the first day and...

Für das 1. Türchen benötigst Du 150 Aktivitätspunkte, Du hast jedoch erst 0 Aktivitätspunkte.
Translated: For the first Door you need 150 activity points, but you have only 0 Activity points.

Judging from the rest of the downloads on their site, they now have a points system for accessing files. Even though it said I had 0 points, I was able to download a 50 "Freak-Taler" item. I tried another one, but it said I didn't have permission. I was still able to download another 5 and 10 "Freak-Taler" item. Guess I had a few "points" anyway, but something less than 100, anything that high was all blocked anyway.

This is not correct, you don't need activation Points for the calendar at Art of Poser. You Need the 150 activation Points for the calendar at the poserfreaks.

I just DL from poserfreaks, and I've got no activity points..... never heard of them on poserfreaks site either

I am not complaining - I do understand them wanting somebody who is active and not just there to download freebies - I just wanted to warn English speaking people who don't get the possibility to get those activity points.

Ops! Looks like I got my sites mixed up. The Art of Poser calender is the one that requires "points". The Poser Freaks calendar is public, but their other downloads require points. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh, and don't forget the time difference. Some have the items posted for one day only, so if you wait until evening to check, they may have moved on to the next day.

I think posting something like "Hallo, mein Name ist (your name here). Ich komm aus (your country here) und möchte mich hier ein wenig umsehen. Gibt es hier auch englische Topics?" will suffice :)

Translated to english you'd have said "Hello, my name is (your name here). I'm from (your country here) and want to take a look around. Are there english topics too?"

Click on the top on the left side on "Adventskalender", the next side scroll a little bit down. Please look at the Screen.

Wow, just look at those free courses from Digital Tutor on the Creative Blog advent calendar. Too bad I don't use any of those high-end programs, not even Z-brush.
