Do I need to download both the Daz and Poser files?

Ok I'm getting a little confused and the lack of file size is not helping. I understood that you needed to download the .ds and .dpc if the two varied in size significantly but if they were the same you could just download the .ds. Now I bought a bunch of stuff in the sale and it all says Daz file or Poser file. Do I need to download both of these or can I just get the Daz file?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Yes! Most often the models are in the poser file and DS-specific textures are in the Daz file. I screwed up so many early installations before I realised that... *laughs*

Files that say 'ds' are Daz only; 'dpc' is Daz, Poser, Carrara (usually the core files for a product), and ones that say 'tx' are textures or templates.

If you use Window's, Taozen's 3D content downloader can give you file sizes before you download: http://taosoft.dk/software/3DConDo/
