Create / Objects/ Terrain not showing in color?

Hi all!
I am new to Bryce and am trying to learn how to do a snowy forest, anyways I was following a forest tute on youtube and my Terrain choices are coming up in grey only and not in color.

How can I get them to show in color and render in color?
Did I miss something in the various install files?
Where are they located on my PC? And can I download more terrains etc?

Sorry for all the questions!

    Those are just the basic heightmap geometries.
    You load those and then apply the texture you want by selecting the terrain in your viewport and going to the little triangle at the right of the Edit tab to enter the material presets. Then scroll down the left hand menu until you see "Terrains", then select from the choices available. There are about a dozen snowy ones to choose from.
