Since I don't have the time to do another comic at the moment, I figured I could also share some of my other renders here, even I am no way near as good as some of the stuff I have seen here (in terms of render quality and ideas).

Second one. Just trying out how many different renders I can get out of one scene :cheese:

Third one is in the making but I am having problems with the light (assassination in the night time). Don't know when, if ever, it will be finished. Maybe I will just post some pin ups in the meantime / instead

Snowball fight of the generations :)

1 Victoria 4, 2 Genesis and 2 Genesis2 figure. I really liked the new snow scene and the light it came with, so I had to click something together and that was the only thing that came to mind.

And here is my next "short" story about an unlucky assassin.

Unfortunatly the house does not have any ... innards for the lack of a better word. It is possible to open the windows but behind the windows is a black cube that does not allow for anything to be places inside let alone look inside. So I had to "fake" the lucky merchant in the window.

First time I am really disappointed in a prop. Was really looking forward to furnishing the house so I could use it for another story... guess that is not happening :p

Hmm.. Black Cube? Which set of items? I shall look into this If I can and possibly help. That said...
LOVE them both... Can I ask which comic layout software your using if you are.

Don't know either, I have the files in a folder named "shorts" (for short stories, not those things that Bart Simpson would like us to eat 8-/). But I guess story boards works, too. Glad you like them. Hope I don't run out of ideas (next one is peobably not going to be posted before next year, though ;) ).

It's from the Gatwyck Bundle. I attached a picture that shows this. The door can be openened but you are not able to look inside.

I use Comic Life 2. Really helps with the layout and speech bubbles a lot.

Ah yes thought that looked like Comic Life 2, I have it and will use it very soon. I'll be looking into that set soon. I'm setting up some AD&D render sets and those just hit my cart as very useful items.

It is very nice for outdoor scenes, just not for the indoor kind it seems. Looking forward to seeing the AD&D renders, hopefully in form of a comic? :)

Here is my latest try. Kinda sucks not to be top of the food chain :cheese: My first intention was for the last to panels to be the dragon flying into her lair and feeding her children... but posing the dragon does not come natural to me it seems and I couldn't be bothered to pose a bunch of small dragons 8-/

Thank you. Even if I don't run out of ideas my output will be greatly reduced starting next week as my vacation will be over and I have to start working again :smirk: But somewhere I need to get the money to spend here from

True. Too bad I cant make money with DAZ, but then I did make my other hobby (programming) into my work - so all is good :cheese:

Working on another one pager. Unfortunatly the first scene seems too much for DAZ and the programm keeps crashing while trying to render. Full moonshine diner with 3 Victoria4, 7 Genesis and 1 Genesis 2 (not enough RAM maybe?). Either I am gonna try and render different props alone and put them together in PS or I might try another diner (small italian restaurant maybe - as the scene is Sopranos inspired). Just another excuse to spend money %-P

Anyways here is what I'd rather be doing tomorrow than going to work :)

Just as I thought work has kept me pretty much from "dazzing" (well, Guild Wars 2 had a lot to do with it also, but that is fun, so it doesn't count :cheese:). Anyways, here is my favorite assassin trying out some new toy.

Still no time / new idea for a one pager. But since it is Valentines today here is a little Valentine picture with Jason and Julie. I had the flower salesman standing and smiling in the beginning, but somehow his smile always looked kinda creepy and not the happy / sad look I was going for (sad because he remembers his youth and long lost love), so he had to take a walk.

    Hope you like it.

Still want to convey a little of that?

Have his foot dragging a little instead the 'confident' step he is now taking...and tilt his head down, so that he's looking at the ground...drooping his shoulders wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

Good idea, it's these subtle things that I usually do not notice or pay enough attention to. Here is a second try. The coloring is a bit different 'cause I forgot what I did in PS in the first picture (should really try to pay more attention to what I am doing %-P ).
