Haven't had a BLT in many decades.

Thnaks for the link... Looks like that was a one-off by De Tomaso and Shelby!
I had a friend many years ago, back when we were all listening to eight track tapes in the car. He had one in this a Lark exactly like this one. Same color an all. I remember hearing the music from it across the lot. Always playing ".Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Live album". Cool car.
Birdman has tons of cars on Sharecg. Just click his name on any page showing one of his cars. Usually under the "3d" models" catagory. There are some nice ones and some crappy ones. Many are .3ds format.
I did this up for a show off thread at another forum!!
I had one two days ago for lunch.
Thats cool, it reminds me of a cross between a messerschmitt KR200 and a BMW Isetta... a friend of mine has an Isetta in almost the same color too.
Nephew sent me this

Sweeeeeeet!
Awesome job on the kit bashing to create this, wonderful job, it's looks very cool.
I'm glad to have stumbled upon this thread, as I do love rendering cars and often pretty women with cars too. So I have to add a little something I rendered a while back.
You have to let me know where it is you have found some of those cars.
OMG...Eeyore! THAT is my kind of car. Love the old style Gassers (they call them). I come from a town where everybody had a car like this. My Uncle had one just like this only it was beigh with a 390. Mine was a 1969 Camaro SS 350 four speed. Built to the hilt. Here it is. This is a real car, NOT a model of one...hahaha.
This was my town favorite. Doug Mason's 1955 chevy, 409 four speed. Entire interior was rolled and pleated including the headliner. Hurst shifter with the big white ball. 64 impala bucket seats and console. Grand national tires all the way around. Candy Apple red with 20 coats of hand rubbed clear laquor. Shined like glass. Just a very cool car! This is my 3d model I made of it.
My 1965 Fairlane gasser 3d model. I made this one a long time ago.
Saw this today while I was shopping
Nice sight. Getting a bit too close to the end of the season to see many more of these on the roads. Soon they will be snowplows and salt trucks.
Haven't seen too many gassers around here in a while. The '69 Camaro is a favorite of mine, and the shade of blue on your is my absolute favorite color. Beautiful car.
No snowplows or salt trucks here
We did have snow for a couple of days back in 2017 was the biggest snow here since 1969
Eeyore:
Yeah.. snow all to soon.. had our winter tires on for a while now.. Last year this time we had a good 6 inches of snow.. It went away, but came back at the end of the month.. Then last February we had a 10 day cold snap of -30C weather..
Since today is Halloween, here is my original "Gothic Express" which I made years ago off of the famous"Boot Hill Express" by Chuck Barris. I has a 390 Ford engine in the back.
1963 Chevrolet C-10.
1947 Ford Sedan Deluxe.
Nice kitbashing....
Cool and expensive truck

I can't imagine how expensive the new Hummer is. Fully electric, 1,000 horsepower, 4 wheel steering! Saw a commercial for it and it amazed me. I'd never buy such a beast, anyway, but wow!
Dana
Yeah I'd have to move myself my dog and my three cats into it and use it as a mobile home
https://www.gmc.com/electric-truck/hummer-ev
Hummer EV Edition 1 will go on sale for a suggested price of $112,595
That's about $12,000 less than I paid for my three-bedroom house
I still owe more than that on my house! Yikes!

Happy Birthday to music2u4u! Have a great day!

Just a little view of my small car collection. It's of ridiculous cars, but as I only have room for one real one in the garage, I have to collect digital ones.
From left to right: Lucian Lillipe's freebie Bumblebee Charleston on Renderosity, then 3DClassics' 2CV4. The remaining 3 are by Pamawo, the van, 2CV4 and the Sahara.
There are a few problems with all models. The steering wheel is on the left with all of them, but that's a gripe I have about most vehicles. The 2CV6 has no spring compression. The 3DClassics car needs a 72% scale applied and has no filler pipe. The Pamawo van has a non-oem van section. The roof curvature is certainly not the same as the Citroen originals, but I presume that as there are after-market van bodies now, 29 years after production ended, they were available originally. The 2CV4 has a boot (trunk) with 5 ribs at the centre. I have only ever seen 3 close to the centre, with an Argentine varient of 3 ribs widely spaced. Pamawo's Sahara is amazing in the fact it exists. There were only 694 made in reality, so the fact the model exists is great. BUT there are serious problems. The 4WD real car was obtained by having a second engine in the boot and no mechanical linkage between the two engines. The engine had a grill in the boot lid, and a fuel tank was put under each front seat, one for each engine. The fuel tanks had filler caps in each front door. Unfortunately, Pamawo's model has no boot grill and no filler cap in each door. That is a shame, but the fact it's been modelled at all is great.
I hope this acts as a little review of the models and highlights a few of the problems with them. However, it's wonderful to have them.
Oh, and my real one, is a Maroon and Black Charleston, from 1988. We got her in 1991, and had the chassis changed in 1998. We last ran her in 2004, and hope to restore her one day. She's in the back of the garage waiting patiently.
Regards,
Richard.
