Have seen one, a 58 Buick that my friend was collecting from north of Finland, some 400 miles away and I went with him to drive the other car.
When we got there the car was at his brother's front yard, nobody home but the keys were there, so he jumped in and thought that we just go... The guy was a car mechanic and after a while he jumped out puzzled... Couldn't get the car started and his brother was not answering his phone... Stood there a while, wondering what to do and a bulb lit up in the back of my head "Try the gas pedal..."
My collection of hot rod magazines had given me at least some useful information

Pretty cool!
The Mt. Washington Auto Road (in New Hampshire) uses modified vans, which they call coaches, in the winter. They convert some of the vans to use tracks and they take customers up the mountain, though not all the way to the top.
Dana
...quite interesting. Wonder if they were popular in Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin
1934 3 window hot rod. Nice detail on this one. I think that is a Cadillac engine.
Nice one

Dune buggy from Daz Studios
This is my 32 Ford Hot Rod that I built out of many parts. The engine is a 427 Ford SOHC with two fours. The engine is actually complete with all the inside parts like pistons, shafts, rods, etc. There is about 75 parts to it. The body is an old one that was once a big thing here at the Daz site. It was a freebie download and had some of the parts that could be gotten also, but NOT the entire car. I got the dash and the rear end from the same guy as the body. Not sure what ever happened to that guy but he was on a roll with that one. Wheels I made myself in sketchup and converted them to object files to be imported into Daz for assembly. The tires I am not sure where I got them...lol. Anyway, it is a complete car with all the underside parts and running gear. Hope you like it.
The engine!
Nice
LandRover Defender
really nice!
All it needs now is a flashy paint job.
...indeed, there are a number of good car paint shaders for sale in the store and freebie. Need something to complement all that lovely chrome.
Music's '32 Ford sent me looking.. 32 Ford "Double Down" from the Forza series..
