Masks in Carrara for Animation

Hi there,

I recently purchased Carrara 8.5 with the VectorStyle 2 plugin. I'm having a problem with having to spend a while removing an object in Flash after Carrara converts my 9 frame animation to an Adobe compatible swf vector graphic.

Basically, in order to make certain parts of the object I'm animating invisible (so that it fits onto other movie clips with no overlap in Flash) I'm having to render another object on top of the model I'm focusing on.

Is there a way to somehow mask out a part of the object so I do not need to put another visible model over my object? This is so that when I convert it into a vector, I do not need to spend important time cutting away at my vectors before producing them.
