Considering Purchase -- Genesis Status?

Hello everyone.

I've been watching Carrara's 8.5 beta for... 2, 3 years? Now that it's released, I'm considering a purchase.

Is Genesis content native now, or is Daz Studio still required as a workaround?

Also, an unrelated question. One of my biggest anticipations with 8.5/Genesis was easier clothing management. It used to be a real pain to work around poke-throughs and such with clothing before. How has everyone's experience with Carrara/Genesis clothing been so far? Does most of it automagically fit properly now? And what about strange clothing types?
