Do you have to wait for an upgrade to use animate pro in carrara 8.5?

aniMate 2 is a DAZ Studio plugin. So it doesn't work at all 'directly' in Carrara.
Instead, you use aniMate 2 in DS to create, tweak, combine, and save aniBlocks, then use The aniBlock Importer for Carrara to bring the aniBlocks into Carrara, which works very well! I love it!
