I have been looking for this for a long time.

I know there are models that look similar and go by different names, but I would like to find an exact one.
I believe someone in Japan was working on one but never saw one released.
Considering it was completely built in a computer, maybe the show producers could release a model.

I am not into sci-fi. Is this what you are looking for?
    It's called Battlestar Pegasus though.

Warning to all who are familiar with the Scifi Meshes site, seems the site has been hacked.

    Wow... thanks.

Yes, this was a ship used with the Galactica.

    Thank you so much.

There are some models at this site www.foundation3d.com

These are lightwave objects, though, so need conversion for use in e.g. Daz Studio. I converted the Battlestar Ouroboros using Poseray.

Edit: Just a quick one with it, the materials still need adjustments.

    Thanks.
    That is great.
Know of any tutorial for conversion from Lightwave to DAZ format files?

Hmmm, basically I loaded the lwo file in Poseray (Windows program) and then saved it as Wavefront object format. Such a format can then be imported into Daz Studio and then saved as Daz Scene.

I would have recommended Poseray as well.

Note that Lightwave materials can be fairly straightforward or amazingly complicated, and the .obj format doesn't allow for materials much beyond basic; the equivalent of Poser 4. If you're not familar yet with the D|S Surfaces tab, you will be; there's a good chance you'll need to at least tweak if not completely rebuild pretty much every surface on the object using texture maps supplied with the .lwo file that weren't picked up by the .obj conversion.
