Hey Guys,
I just thought I would let you know that I should be releasing a new product shortly . The product contains 3 complete video tutorials which focus on Carrara's Vertex Modeler but I do create the scene from scratch to a final lit scene, so they are complete mini projects.
Here are the promo images of the different projects and there is almost 3 hrs of video that come with the product. One of the goals of this product is to help get more people modeling in Carrara by showing the user that the VM room is not that mysterious.
Cheers,

Thanks Mmoir...I have your BMF and BMF Winter and the fantastic Mystic Gorge which has been really helpful for my scenes. Looking forward to it! Cheers, xx :) Silene
Hi, how soon and what the price(s) for each and or the set.
pmart,
I just submitted this to Daz yesterday so it depends how the submission process goes and I really want to keep the price low so more people will try their hand at modeling in Carrara. I am guessing under $20 full price for all 3 tutorials , so the 2 week intro sale price should be cheaper than this.
Silene, Thanks for the comments and I am glad you enjoy my products .
Mike
Hi Mike,
I will look out for them. Thank. Cheers.
Wow!
This is incredibly wonderful news! I cannot wait to treat myself to this!
Mike---- Its about time . Smiles. You are one of the most talented folks in this place and definitely these are going to be must haves . Cannot wait. Congratulations on these.
And of course I do hope down the road - there is going to be the mmoir Carrara vertex character creation one? Pretty Please.

Very exciting news. I have some of your products and respect your work. Can't wait.
onya Mike, looks good!
Awesome news, I'm a big fan of your work and finally to have access to some modelling vids just for Carrara that I can actually afford :) Very much looking forward to this,
Great will keep a lookout!
I'll echo that sentiment! I really need to get back into Carrara.
(Dart, Wendy and EP are well aware of my struggles with LightWave addiction at this point! )
For anyone whom might not yet know who Mike Moir (mmoir) is, he is truly a master of Carrara. I'll never forget my experiences after purchasing his Mystic Gorge set. An amazing scene, I knew that a bit of an exploration was in order so, I decided to start with my view on the entrance trail along the bluff. Looking out across the gorge, I've found a cave with a waterfall flowing over its entrance. It was almost hard to spot, at first, due to all of the surrounding vegetation and just all around great looking environment. And that keep/castle just keeps demanding another look as another detail catches the eye. Like all of the torches in their brackets. Spot render? Absolutely! Not only does each torch have fire, but the fire is all instanced as is nearly the entire creation of the structure, itself! It's amazing how this thing is built!
Adventure galore! This scene is a wide open set of various stages, whether you're at the entrance to the church, peering down the long, dark passageway carved from the side of the mountain, battling on the bridge above the flowing river below, trekking along the path, climbing the cliff side, or even scaling up to see what's in the cave behind the waterfall. Who knows, perhaps you're riding on the back of a dragon, flying over the whole scene!
I picked this product to mention because it was one of my first Carrara scene purchases and I just amaze at how well this thing is built. From the folders full of image maps to the duplication and replication of things to create a really fine-rendering scene. Many great modeling and scene-building techniques can be gleaned by exploring the hierarchy of this massive place or just picking a camera view and rendering it out.
Mike has done a lot to help many of us get into modeling in Carrara. I truly look forward to this ;)
