Hi everyone I'm new to Hexagon 2.5 and want to alter a Dinosaur model that I've bought to a new species that is in my movie I'm making.
I want to know how to change measurements in Hexagon 2.5 to metres as at the minute I don't know what measurement it's set on and it is confusing. As I'm from the U.K we are use to metres, centimetres inches and feet.
So if anybody knows how to sort my issue can they tell me so I can sort it out.
Chears, Ian. :)

In the properties. :)
Hexagon is set to 'cm' by default I believe.
If you go to 'Properties' next to the 'Scene tree', you can change it there to inches or feet, and even miles or kilometres. It wont make any difference in the viewport though.
Great chears for that guys I'll do that
Just changed the meaurements but cannot find the height width and length scale boxes so I can alter the model.
I need to select the tail 1st but it only seems to let me select a smail piece at a time which with the amount of vertexes on this dinosaur it'll take forever to select it all is there a quicker way of just selecting the tail?
In the Properties panel just above the Scene Tree, you will see Position Rotate and SZIE. The Size boxed are coloured to match the axis on the manipulator.
To select a lot of vertices, select one, then press Shift+ the Plus key on the numeric keypad, or go to Selection > Grow Selection. You should really take a look at the manual which is supplied in C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ 3D\Hexagon2\docs
Ok I'll take a look
Hi again I'm doing the selecting the object on hexagon but whenever I let go of the mouse and want to select next area it deselects what I've done so I have to restart what do I need to do to stop this from happening? Chears, Ian.
To select a single vertex, face or edge, left click.
To add to the current Selection, hold down the Shift key, is that what you mean?
I can select them fine but when I unclick with the mouse and select the rest of the model the pieces I selected unselect that was what I ment :)
I'm not really with you here?
When you make a selection of vertices etc., you have to do something with that selection, like use one of the tools on it, extrude etc. You can't click on something else or you lose the selection. Is that what you are doing?
You don't need to hold the mouse button in when selecting say a vertex. You just click on it as normal, and it should change colour to show that it is selected, then hold down Shift to add to the selection. If you do not hold down the Shift key, the previous selection will be lost, but do NOT hold down the LMB, just click as normal.
