No discussions on this thread please. If you would like to comment, please limit those to the main discussion thread.

Each participant can enter up to three entries. Please consider using all three of your entry slots. Those entering renders for the Best Render by a Newbie must enter at least 2 renders by the end of the contest. Please check the rules before entering. Any images with a signature or is not submitted with the attachment will be disqualified if not corrected by the end of the contest. If anyone has issues adding an attachment when uploading their entried, PM @Knttingmommy or seek help in the discussion thread so we can get it sorted out.     Not sure if this counts as repurposing, but the outfit and tattoos are female, simply because I don't own equivalent products for males. This is my first time participating in this contest, and my first order from Daz was December 9, 2018, so I am new.

    At the Hearth

    Coming home after a long day of work, getting the fire started and simply enjoy a quiet evening. That was what he had done for so long, longer than he cared to admit. Today was supposed to be just like any other, yet the moment he opened the door he knew something was different.

    He could smell the scent of fresh coffee lingering in the air, feel a warmth in the house that should have been cold until the fire warmed it up. His breath hitched when he noticed a shirt piled on the floor, slowly he made his way into the living room. Stopping in the doorway he stared at the man straddling the chair, the fire crackling merrily behind the man's back. Brown eyes met his and the man smiled at him, making him chuckle softly "You have been away for a long time, welcome home" he said as he regarded the man he had not seen for nearly ten years.

    Free Solo - the Boulder Problem - Karate Kick

    This is a reconstruction of Alex Honnold's free solo on the route Freerider on El Cap, on pitch 23, at the place called The Boulder Problem. The move is called Karate Kick. It is considered as the most difficult and dangerous move on the entire route for Honnold.

    Only he could slay the dragon...and save the kingdom. He hoped that the Princess wouldn't try to kiss him afterwards. Girls were always doing dumb stuff like that. Yuck! But he suppose that that was ... the Price of being a Hero!

    ( first entry - a bit of a cliché - moodily lit portrait against a black backdrop )

    - joequick's Faces of Fantasy for M4 (ShareCG freebie) ... Djinn 30%, Nosferatu 20%. Then rerendered just his ears using just Orc -8%
    - AprilYSH's Jai Hair (DAZ Store) slapped on as an afterthought
    - rendered in PP2014 after using just two point lights after applying SnarlyGribbley's EZSkin2
    - minor postwork to overlay the correct ears on the main render.

    Other than the general category, the only other one that might apply would be story telling (short but to the point).

    Lost but never forgotten.

    She was his rival. Then she was his friend. Then she was his lover. Then she was his mate. She was always loyal to all but most to him. She was also a fierce warrior herself. She protected him as long as she could before she fell. She gave her life for him. Now she is gone from him. Now she is lost to him. But never is she forgotten. He, above all, will remember - always.
