can i use Celebrity Lola on the genesis base figure?

Just wondered if I am able to use the 3D Celebrity Lola on the Genesis and Genesis 2 default characters?


would victoria 4 for genesis 2 plug in work to do this .

    you need GenX too
    then you could transfer the morph
    her textures load on Genesis with v4 uv as in the base female

    just to clarify, I need the genesis plug in that i linked above and GenX? could you tell me what exactly you refer to with GenX or give the link?

    Victoria 4 textures will work on Genesis 1 straight in DAZ Studio 4.6 without any other tools needed. You do not need GenX or other utility.

    I have not tried "Celebrity Lola" on genesis 1 yet. but i will shortly and see how it works out . thanks for the suggestion on that. I don't think it says that can be done anywhere on the product info. page however.which is a bit surprising.?

    genX by Dimension 3D transfers morphs from generation 4 figures to genesis ie michael4, victoria4 Freak4 aiko4
    there is not one for genesis2female
    yes textures will work on genesis. you need Mallen Lane's V4 for genesis 2 female for G2F

    When Genesis was first introduced and released, it shipped with V4 UVmaps. The materials that ship for Genesis are V4, M4, K4 textures,

    Lola is a morph and texture
    the morph needs genX and V4 shape

    Yes Wendy you are correct, the morphs do not transfer only the textures. But Genesis has other option for aging the figure other than transferring the old morphs using the GenX utility. One such option is using the Lola texture and then using aging morphs for Genesis.

    Now utilities that transfer content between generations is great for users that have tons of old content, but if a user is starting at the current generation going backwards will cost more than using the current generation.

    I tend to agree
    Lola is a great texture
    I got her head over with GenX but still cannot do her body
    files not found yet she loads on V4 complete and I transfer from figure in scene

    GenX is said to be made compatible with Gen2F and Gen2M somewhere in the future. I would wait if you want to use them or pick up Bellatrix for Gen2F.
