Help! Genesis characters such as Michael 5 are messed up in Cinema 4D via PoserFusion. I tried the same with the Maya 2014 trial version to check if it is Cinema 4D, but the same issue appears.
If I create a scene using DSON, and use “Collected Scene Inventory” in and tried that very same scene on another system with Poser the same issue appears. Note: That second system does not have DSON or the figures installed. The Poser plugin collects all required Michael 5 data within one folder. So I can zip it and transfer my scene.
This indicates that the DSON Importer does not bring everything over that is needed.
@DAZ: Will there be a bugfix?

That's a UV set problem...it's not using the correct UV set for the textures being used.
Is that Genesis 1 or 2?
Genesis 1.
Michael 5.
Ok...it's probably defaulting back to the V4 UV set, then.
How to fix it...I haven't got a clue...I don't have a version of Poser that I can use Genesis in, so I don't know where to go from here.
I believe the external apps to Poser do not have the plugin architecture available for the Poser DSON importer to pass info to, so you are just getting the base obj and UV in those other programs.
@Male-M3dia: You're right! Genesis2 does not have that much UV-issues, but.... the textures of tthe eyes do not get exported at all for Genesis 2!
JoePublic at Renderosity recently posted at the Renderosity forum on how to create a Genesis cr2 and deal with the UV issue. Once this is done, it is a native Poser figure and should behave as one...

However, I wouldn't regroup the hip unless I wasn't going to use clothing for Genesis on it...
I'm having a problem here too, but it is when import genesis clothes fited in vue 10complete.
all's well that even in poser, but when in vue, they come with the clothes not fited
