Old content from remote storage

I have just purchased a new computer with Windows 8. I placed all of my old stuff on a remote drive. I down loaded install manager and the new 4.6 pro. Everything is working great.
Now I want to start uploading old files, or do I work from the storage drive?
If I work from the storage drive what needs to be done in Daz studio to find path?
Thanks Big Ed

Unless you copy the stuff from the drive to the already mapped location, then I'd just map the drive and be done with it, because that way you don't have to deal with the copy time and you'll be done in under a minute...otherwise, you'll still have to copy and then map it. This is especially true if you used the DIM to install the new stuff. It is recommended that you keep DIM installed and other installed content separate, anyway.

But that said, the Content Directory Manager is found under Edit > Preferences > Content Library or in the drop menu in the Content Library pane. Just add the path to the 'main' content folder (Content/My Library/whatever) no subfolders...add it to both the DAZ and Poser formats sections.
