When I export a new .obj from Hexagon to DAZ, it either doesn't show up at all or is TOO SMALL!!!

When I attempt to create a clothing article for Genesis, and then save it as an obj, it either doesn't show up at all or else it is so small I have to scale it up. If I export at 100 percent, it is far too LARGE. This is getting very frustrating! I can't get this to work correctly at all. I need for the new clothing article to fit Genesis correctly without having to scale it up or down! What export settings should I use? It is making me extremely angry.

Import the object in size 500.000 and export at 0.002. Or just use the DS Bridge since you're using Studio.

One thing might be, import as Poser .obj.

DS has some import presets...have you tried the Hexagon import preset, after exporting the item at 100% from Hex?

Also, are you importing anything to Hex, like Genesis?

What scale did you export/import it at?

Simply export Genesis from Studio at base resolution as .obj, Studio preset size, import to Hex at default size 1, make the clothing, delete Genesis and get rid of all the Genesis shading domains and and materials and export at default size 1. Import to Studio at default Studio settings and you'll be fine.

It really doesn't matter what setting you export from Studio at - as long as you import and export in Hex at the same Hex setting and import back into Studio at the setting you exported it at.

Good idea to keep a copy of Genesis .obj with materials deleted - this will save a lot of work for future projects.
