Hello:

My crossed leg goes right through the skirt. Is this pose too extreme? should I change it?

Thank you

using Daz studio. Genesis 2 and JeanZ.

newbie alert.

That's asking a lot of the skirt - it follows the upper legs, but not the lower legs. You might be able to fix it with magnets/DFormers or, if this is DAZ Studio, by applying a Smoothing Modifier to the skirt (select the skirt then go to Edit>Figure>Geometry>Apply Smoothing Modifier) and in the parametrs pane setting the Collision target to Genesis 2 Female

In the meantime I did this. I deleted the skirt. then I reloaded it. guess what. it worked around the leg on its own. then I fiddled a little with the pose again but it solved the problem. thanks for getting me started.

The way I'd fix it...export the skirt to a modelling program and fix it there. I think it's too extreme to be corrected with smoothing and the deformers would probably take me longer to set up and adjust than exporting/fixing in a modeller...but your mileage may vary with that one.
