DAZ3D 4.6.2 crashes

I run Mac OS 9, Mavericks. I had good experience with DAZ 3D 4.6 v 38 in December 2013. DAZ3D upgraded to v 39 in January and it crashed on attempting to save a scene or to load a previously saved .duf scene.

DAZ3D just upgraded to v4.6.2. DAZ3D 4.6.2 still crashes when attempting to open a file or to save a new scene.

I suspect it cannot find an appropriate file. However, the installer should load everything. In v 38 and v39 the installer DAZ3DDIM
was resident on my computer. Now it is not.

Should I wait for a fix, uninstall and/or trash all files, and try a new download?

How will I know if or when a fix is forthcoming?

This is not a universal issue, so DAZ can't fix it (assuming it's an issue with DS) unless it's reported. I would suspect it's a local issue - try opening the log file in a text editor and look at the end to see what the last recorded action was (I can't recall where the Mac version of DS keeps its log file, but I've sent out an SOS). Ah, it's ~/Library/Application Support/DAZ 3D/studio

Can you please provide a crashlog (you find them via Console.app (in /Applications/Utilities).
