animate wepons

hi im just starting out on animation.does anyone know how to animate arrows spears swords??? im having trouble getting the arrows to move lol
maybe they need there own wepons block??? I can not seem to find one..any help would be great thanks..

    Just use the translate dials to rotate into the vector you want it to fly and move the arrow through the desired number of keyframes. For instance when your character releases the arrow, say at keyframe 120, (assuming its 30fps and you are 4 secs in) jump 45 kefyrames and translate arrow to where you want it stuck in the target. Then continue with creating animation at that keyframe. Now when you play you character will launch the arrow 4 seconds in and it flys for 1.5 secs before it splits the apple.

    lol will have to look that up I latterly just started I figured out the blocks not sure how I records me moving the arrow

    You are talking about blocks, I think you are in the Animate Timeline.
    Try this:
    Switch to the normal Timeline. Make a keyframe at start, move the arrow to another point in the scene, make another keyframe at the end of the Timeline.
