Thank You to everyone who participated!!
Thank you, Misty!
I can't help but think that justice was not served. Bunyip's votes were spread because he did so much great stuff. So much great stuff! One solution is to pay it forward. I have an idea, which I hope Bunyip and Misty would approve.
Personally, I love these little side challenges. Similar to writing prompts and sketch books. Alhough I wish more people participated, I appreciate the exercise.
So much great stuff...
Congrats Diomede, thanks Misty, unfortunately Stezza was dodging bushfires so missed out !
Enjoy using up my content library with the theme, get's one thinking about what scene to do so the imagination starts running riot...
Would like it if more people joined in the fun as well !!!
great images all... sorry I missed it all...
I don't like entering competitions
any competitions not just 3D art at the best of times,
creating more competitions doesn't exactly help in that regards
I just do stuff because I like doing it,
for fun
when I need to compete it becomes work
I don't like work ...
the ones I did enter were out of a sense of duty, somewhere along the line I realised I didn't need to do that, I owed nothing
thats not to say I don't enjoy watching others do stuff, I do very much and would love to comment on it and share information more than I already do it's just I often feel I am intruding and off topic.
on a similar vein, monetising my youtube channel was probably the worst most stressful thing I ever did and the day I demonitised it I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders, I have no idea what potential money I have missed out on, have never looked (one can) and honestly don't care.
it never was much BTW and not worth the stress, going to an employment agency and grabbing a few hours of contract work at base rates in a factory would be less stressful and pay massively more in comparison
I love gazing at all of the renders! Great job, both of you! Voting for these things is always tough
Wendy, I think that everyone wants to see what you come up with, and learn how you do it. That's part of the fun. If you don't want to enter the voting part, then simply say THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY. 3DAGE used to do that all of the time in the Carrara Challenge. We are such a small community. Helping everyone stay engaged, at whatever level one wishes to participate, seems like a reasonable idea.
I don't participate in these side render contests at this point because I don't have the time. Some of you folks are prolific. More often than not, I get deep in the weeds and am lucky to finish 3 renders for the Carrara Challenge.
Congrats, Ted! Nicely done!
Thank you for the kind comments.
