How do I open older Bryce format scenes (.br5, .br6) in Bryce 7.1

Hallo all,

I have many old Bryce scenes I got, Bryce 5, Bryce 6, etc I want to use in Bryce 7.1.

How do I import these to use, please?  I know there is a way but I have no idea.

    You can simply open them in Bryce 7.1. But when you want to open them, Bryce might not see them, because it is looking for .br7 files. But you can change that easily. You just have to change the 'file types' from br7 to 'all files'

    launok - as Hansmar showed. Important bit is to open Bryce first, then load the file. Do not double-click on the file.
