a strange problem

i have a file that when renderd carrara stops working

the program just close

it render in 64*48 pixels

an it renders when i disactivate GI sky light

    I have a feeling that it's in the shaders and lights interactions. Impossible to tell with such a tiny bit of info, but I think it's overloading with RAM. This can happen very easily with something like Carrara that will just let us throw anything we want at it. 

    Shaders with raytrace-intensive things like reflections, refraction and transparency combined, when replicated and/or interacting with other shader elements that can cause these things to create a raytrace loop of neverending RAM build-up can certainly crass the application. Add lights with raytraced soft shadows, HDRI, and GI and.... well you know. Click, and it's all over.
