Mimic for custom characters

Hello Carraraitites,
I have another tech dilemma. How can I use mimic on my custom characters? Most of my work is custom characters and I usually have to hand lip sync them. Lots of fun but very time consuming. I use mimic on DAZ models all the time. I would like the same convenience for my custom work. Any tutorials or DAZ instructions I can use?

Here is the manual:

I created a Group at Cafe to collect MIMIC and Text-to-Speech resources and discussions.

This thread contains a list of ALL the Mimic controls, but the actual number you *need* to do to get convincing mouth movements is MUCH fewer:

Sweet, thanks Holly. I will check these out.
Analogous to the old Yahoo or AOL Groups. You can join a group and choose to get alerts when anyone posts there. They have their own activity wall and forums for dedicated topics, projects, etc. As a CAFE member you can start your own group, host it and invite people to join.
That's really nice. I like it.
I agree, it sounds really usefull.
I use Mimic Pro for Carrara a lot for my custom characters. I used it with the main character in my recent movie (seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4U049a2dFsU ).
If you run into trouble or have questions, reach out to me and I'll try to help. :-)
