Left & Right window Sizing in DAZ: one way only

The Right and Left windows have been bugging me for a while now.

Once they are dragged opened more then 1/3 the screen size they can not be dragged decreased below that. It becomes an all or nothing state.

So for weeks now I've been looking at my work through huge window slats.

Is there anyway to clear this without clearing the User interface?

This is what it looks like, neither side can decrease past it's current location.

Which Layout are you using? That does affect unexpected parts of the windows and bits. Your current setup might have gotten corrupted (happens sometimes). Try changing to another Layout, then change back to your current one, that sometimes clears the glitch by re-loading the default Layout setup.

Something else that can affect side-window sizing: the size depends on which tabs you have docked in a window, and some tabs have fixed minimum sizes. Have you added or moved any tabs from the out-of-the-box default arrangement?

You mean added tabs to the two side windows? Yes.

Tried alternate set ups, but there still seems to be a absolute minimum width.
One workspace setup was a minimum of 25% total workspace each side and that was an improvement.

Flipping through the workspace types didn't work it free.

I guess I'll have to reset the UI to default and try to figure out at what point it wont let me resize.

Some panes have minimum widths that aren't enforced in the default, newly opened state, but once you resize them they do kick in. Try regrouping the panes until you find the wide ones, then either hide them or place them in a single group.
