Software Comes On Hard Drives Now

I recently upgraded some music software from my four year old version.  The website said it would be delivered on a USB hard drive.  I thought surely they meant a flash drive, but no, a USB connected hard drive.  Sure enough, it showed up on a palm sized flat device about 4"x3"x3/8".  The brand is "Sabrent" but I think that's just the enclosure, and it has a USB 3 cable.  I'm installing it to my desktop tower, 130GB, about an hour.  So that's ... carry the 2 ... nearly 30 DVD's?  They let you download, which would take ... carry the 9 ... about a week ...

Right. ActionVFX sells their entire VFX library on a HDD too. Nice for folks who need it all, and they need it fast.
