Switching to 3dlight

I tried very hard but I still had 2 mats that were Iray. rsl, mdl, nothing, don't know why the PA's can't get together with common formats. much easier on us all and makes their product more saleable. Any way in the first render you may have noticed a ball of fur wearing a red dress and dancing on a pole. Hence the name, "when cousin it worked as a pole dancer. It took me a moment to realize what happened to the other one. I thought at first she had been turned into a monkee, then I figured out that she has no face but she does have the underlying anatomy. Mouth eyes etc. way creepy but way cool too. I am saving the render. maybe good for halloween. Second render isn't much better. It is going to take me a while to get a handle on 3dlight but render times are under 5 min compared to hours at the end of which my computers usually crashes on this big scene. oh well. That is the best way to learn. Oh I said there are two bad mats but there may well be more so feel free to scutinize and critisize all you like. It's not like I know where you live...yet.

Hi Dennis, I get both problems in 3Delight sometimes. In the top one where parts of the body is missing on the dancer and the texture is messed up on the girl's face to our left. I have way too much loaded in the scene for my PC. The render below where the lines show up on the dancers legs and the bad match at the shoulder of the girl on our left, I get that when rendering with Reality 2 but not when rendering with 3Delight. These look like V4 A4 V3 characters. I find that I have to reboot and start the scene again rendering much less at a time on my PC and then composite the png files all in Photoshop. I also find this happens with just one model open in my scene if I keep changing textures to see what I like on the model. None of what I have said are fixes for your problem here. Just observations.
