Geografting stopped working

I've been having problems with geografting suddenly not working. When applying a graft, it's simply positioned over the old mesh. It's not fitted, and the old mesh is not hidden.
As far as I can see I'm doing it corretly. I'm testing with the official DAZ grafts to make sure it's not my own stuff messing things up:

Load genesis figure, select it, double click on genital graft.

I've had it happen before, reinstalling DAZ made it go away, but I'm wondering if there's something else I could do?

It has to be conformed to the original mesh to graft to it.

I know. That's why I'm testing with default genesis II and default genesis II genital geograft, which is already set up correctly.

    1) is the CMS running

    2) is it actually able to "talk" to DS

    3) if no to either of the above then check that the geograft item is actually "fitted to" the figure, do this in the Parameters tab.

If the G2 gens are anything like the G1 content then it will have been saved "poorly", and will be missing the auto-conforming code that will let it work with or without the CMS.

Huh. That's interesting, thanks. It spontaneusly started working again a bit later, so that makes a lot of sense if it's a service being funky.

Only weird thing is that I'm I tested on the beta, and in there it workedfine. Aren't they using the same CMS service?

ANd how do you save you grafts properly? My own grafts stopped working as well, so if this is the problem, I'm doing it wrong too...

The attached pic shows a chunk of code from the Genesis Female Genitals DUF, the highlighted line is what I've had to add to it, check your DUF files in a text editor and see if you have that line of code, you might have to uncompress them first.

Without that code DS wont do what it's meant to, instead the CMS has to take up the slack.

I can't speak about specifics as I've never done a geograft, but it's basically just a conformer, so it should fall under the same rules.

Sometimes you just have to redo it, and it will start working again I found that when changing the weight mapping it comes unstuck.

Yeah I know, but again, this was testing with the official DAZ grafts, not my own stuff.
Thanks for the info Bejaymac, that's definetely something I'm going to look into :)
