Converted Clothing Loses Details/Texture?

Hello, I'm trying to get a surgeon's clothes for my Gen 8 male model so I was looking into this:
Surgical Gowns for Genesis https://www.daz3d.com/surgical-gowns-for-genesis
This is, unfortunately, for genesis 1. 

So I looked into a clothing converter: RSSY Clothing Converter from Genesis to Genesis 8 Male https://www.daz3d.com/rssy-clothing-converter-from-genesis-to-genesis-8-male
Based on the preview photo, it seems like all the textures and details are lost in the conversion.
Is my understanding correct?


Any suggestions/recommendations would be very helpful. Thank you.

    These scripts don't affect materials. What happened with them was that they were probably quickly converted to Iray with the Iray base shader, since the surgical gowns were made with 3Delight settings. You would have to tweak the material settings if you are planning to render with Iray. If you are going to use 3Delight, nothing is affected.
