Cute Dress and Shoes, need HELP! Solved

Okay, the shoes appear on the feet, the feet change pose and everything looks great until I autofit them to G2F. How do I get these shoes on G2F? I do own SRMS, but I'm new with it. I suppose I could convert it for genesis again and try it? I selected Genesis to convert from and footwear. They went from perfect to garbage. I didn't know this would happen with Genesis shoes to G2F! How can I keep them on the feet and looking right? It's like the shoe thinks the foot was posed twice. The shoes are bent way below the feet and the feet are in a high-healed posed. I can't seem to move the foot without the shoe moving.

THANKS! Wow, that worked great. I had struggled with getting some V4 shoes to work on Genesis as well. Gonna redo these shoes and go fight with the V4 ones next. Is there a way to save both shoes at the same time? I tried saving as an asset, figure/prop and looks like I have to save each shoe separate. I did manage to save a foot pose to go with the shoes. It takes me a bit to learn new things. I managed to do it wrong every way possible I think. heh

    Very welcome!

No, I'm afraid if the shoes were separate in their original version you'll have to save them separately. If you want them to load together after this is accomplished, try saving a wearables preset. I'm not sure that will work well with AutoFit, but I haven't tried it.

Its even better! I got the V4 DarkRose boots on Genesis. I skipped the part where you autofit them when they load. I I triax weightmapped them. I jammed the feet in them. Then transferred the rigging. Then I went over to the parameters tab and chose to fit them to Genesis. I saved them as a figure asset. they load up pretty good. I am going to try for a better fit. Then put Genesis in the default pose with the boots on before I save them. Might make it easier to try to get them on G2F.... This is much better than what I ended up with last time I tried.

Excellent. I'm glad you've got it figured out. DAZ Studio is an incredibly powerful tool for quick rigging and refitting, it's one of the reasons I love it so much. :-)

I am all about the feet today. I noticed I have to reapply my foot pose after applying a pose. Is there a way to make my foot pose stick? Am I saving it wrong? When I saved the foot pose on the G2F those were like pumps and these are ankle boots. My foot pose worked better on G2F for some reason. I saved them the same way. With boots I can hide feet, but just for those future sandals I'll be buying.....I want to know!!!

But this is so unbelievably cool to be able to use so many more items! I have to take a pee test but I'm that far getting a job. Good thing too, my wishlist exploded! With SRMS and this new way of getting shoes on feet, now I can get those V4 cheap items... The foot problem was really driving me crazy.

It's normal to have to apply the foot pose on top of the regular pose - as far as I know there's no way around it. You get used to doing things in the order of set up shoes properly - pose figure - reapply foot pose.

Congratulations, and I hope you get the job!

Thank you so much!!! I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am with being able to use the old V4 $1.99 items now. I was thinking my next project would be learning to make shaders, shader baking, and maybe get some tutorials on texturing. I thought maybe I'd make some freebies for the $1.99 items. I was sitting here, unable to even get V4 shoes to work on Genesis, wondering if I did dark rose textures if I would have to throw in extra textures for Genesis shoe models so people could use the stuff with Genesis and G2F. Now I can just tell them how to get V4 shoes on Genesis without breaking them in autofit first off. If I get this job, first paycheck, the tutorials. Second paycheck all the $1.99 V4 stuff!
