Well it's time to close the voting, and let me tell you the results are close! I have to triple check them and will announce the winners soon. Thanks to everyone who voted and entered. Special thanks to the Bryce people too who contributed to the votes!
Congratulations winners! And much appreciation to the participants. Wonderful variety of interpretations and styles. Thanks to Daz for continued sponsorship. And of course kudos to Headwax for a great job as host.
Congratulations to the other winners, but also to everyone who participated, and to Headwax for a really cool theme. That one thread alone shows how amazing and fun Carrara can be.
I'm happy to do Carrara Challenge # 52, if I have lots of guidance and help with math (akkkk, math, run away!).
well done everyone... great images which makes it so hard to choose... you all have done great and it's so enjoyable to watch the interpretations of a theme, thanks to those of you that thought mine was worthy of your vote.. it is appreciated
But this is a little akward. For me to take the newcomer award, that isn't right.
I might have skipped a couple of challenges, but I have been participated all the way back to the first.......
Varsel, it's a well deserved award! I'm not sure why you have never been in the finallists but now you are. There has been a suggestion that we call it the "Comeback award."
Either way, you won it so congrats!!!
Looking forward to seeing what Cbird comes up with. :)

Oh well - my voting has nothing to do with the ideas, quality and interpretation of the works shown here - it's just personal preferences.

Wowza, after counting the votes about ten times I have the WINNERS!!
Bearing in mind that an individual artist can only win one prize these are the results.
Just pipping Bunyip02 at the gate was CBIRD with the most votes over all images!!
STEZZA also pipped Bunyip02 at the gate with his brilliant image #13 "Greta" as the image with the most votes winner.
The new Newcomer prize goes to a much deserving VARSEL.
The most original interpretation goes to HEADWAX ... (hey that's me)
Congrats to the winners and to everyone who entered, it was really very difficult to choose between all the images, as usual they were excellent.
And thanks to Daz again for sponsoring us!
so in summary
1) CBIRD - overall challenge winner.
2) STEZZA - image withe most votes winner
3) HEADWAX - most original interpretation.
4) VARSEL - best newcomer.
If those winners can send me the email that is attached to their account I will forward it on to DAZ.
And over to CBIRD to take the reigns of Carrara Challenge #52! (as always there is no obligation for the winner to do this)
Stay Safe.
Congrats to all, very inspiring plus fun art! We needed some inspiration and fun. Silene
