Problem trying to delete custom script action

I want delete some scripts actions but DS4 is freezing when I apply this changes. 30% of CPU is used when this occurs. Any alternative way to delete custom scripts?

    Exactly how are you trying to delete the Custom Actions. You should be able to delete them quite easily with DS open from the Menu, Windows -> Workspace -> Customise or the F3 key.

    In the left hand pane at the top you will see that the first entry is "Custom Actions", just click the + sign to expand the tree, find the action you want to delete, right click and select (can't think which) Delete or Remove Custom Action.

    Yes, I did it. But Studio get freezing. My PC present a notorious increase of usage in CPU, and I need, after a long wait, stop the DS proccess to recover control in my machine. I have a i5 machine with 16 GB ram and a 3.10 Ghz proccesor.

    Hmmm. That's a curly one Gilikshe.....I will definitely have to defer to the DAZ Techies here....

    BTW, do you get excessive CPU usage with DS whilst doing anything else? Are any other Apps running? Does your Anti-Virus have live protection enabled?

    I know, I know, I'm probably clutching at the the veritable straw here......just a few things that came to mind.

    If I think of anything I will PM you.

    Which version of DS, 32 or 64 bit, and which operating system? Is it only deleting actions that causes a hang or do you get an issue if you do anything else in the Customise dialogue and click Accept?

    Stiks1954 and Richard:

    DS4.6 2.117 64 bits, windows 7 64 bits.
    Norton internet security 2013, TuenupUtilities, Matlab, Mozilla Firefox used while the problem was present. Before to try delete CPU was in 1% to 5% of usage with this programs in use, when I try to delete action CPU increase in 35% to 45%. I stoped the DS proccess, I closed Matlab and firefox, opened DS again and tried to delete the action again, same result.

    Just now, the problem stop to happens when I restarted the computer. I now can erase the actions. This is the second time that I a have problem with DS and restart solve it. Until now I didn't have problems like these, close and open DS was enough.
