disable render thumbnails?

Okay, this is driving me crazy. I want to keep DAZ from creating thumbnails in the render library. They do nothing but clutter it up. How can I do this? It was recommended that I save the images in a different folder, which sometimes works -- but sometimes doesn't. Furthermore, with "New Window" selected in the Render Settings, the setting doesn't carry over. Is there a way to disable thumbnails altogether?

I'm on a Mac, which some might suggest is the issue...

As noted, any image file in a folder set as a render library will get a reduced-size thumbnail that is displayed in the render Library pane - if you don't want it, change the drop down at the bottom of the Render window to folder instead of library, point the Render Library to a folder you don't use (right click on the Render Library pane's tab to get the directory manager) and close the Render Library pane.

Make sure you have Folder as opposed to Library in the dropdown as suggested here.
