Starfox Assault Arwing! (Free model, NOT a rip.)
Okay, so before we get into it, this is a custom made model. Not a video game rip. If you are here for an 'official' model, this ain't it. :D That said, I offer to you all, the Starfox Assault Arwing MK 2.

My first thought is congrats on getting sharecg.com to upload that large a file! Unfortunately coming in at kbs/sec [I have high speed, it's their website] the download failed of course so I'll try sketchfab next. wow, must be a busy night on the 'Net, that one was trickling in under 30 kb/sec. Not happening.
Anyhow the promos look good :-) Thank you.
edit: last attempt at sharecg worked :-)
Looks good :)
I think the file size is likely offputting for more folk than myself: can it be reduced a bit?
Well, its mostly JUST for the textures. There are three sets, and I didn't want to upload multiple files, so there are duplicates of the textures in there.
There are 3 sets of textures as the ship has mat files for the load, used and worn. That however is just 1 set which is needed in the Runtime > textures to load with the model.
There is a second set which is in the folder called 'Basic model' which could be released on its own. Unzipped it is 302 mb. It includes the .obj, .mtl, and the 300 mb worth of images.
So technically yes, this could be divided into 2 uploads with the basic model folder in one, and the rest in the other.
Also to note that while the texture images are nice large ones, some of them are also a little over 50 mb in size.
There are also several nice morphs to move the wings about :-)
Anyway, here are a few test renders I made, same lighting for all of them. Be careful which angle you render the ship from ;-) {n.b. I am not familiar with this craft, maybe there are special forces at work in it to hold all those pieces together}
Yeah, the base model was intended for people who DIDN'T use DAZ.
nm, I misread.
Okay, since there are so many complaints and comments about the size of this project, I took a looksee at the size of the textures, and redid them to a smaller bitformat. No other changes in quality are expected, but now its less than half of what it used to be. Downloaders can erase the "Basic Model" folder if you only want to use it in DAZ.

EDIT: Yeah, there are some bits that are floating. They were floating in the original model too, and I couldn't be arsed to model a mechanical solution.
