Is it possible to update the Hexagon tutorial links sticky?

Hi, I've tried several of the links on the sticky thread

http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/326/

and they all take me to a page advertising Daz Studio Pro.

I just want some general interface familiarisation videos and a basic model with instructions so I can get a quick feel for the program.

You know, I was looking at that last night, thinking about Hexagon here as well.

I stumbled across of all things, a product, that must be payed for, that explains how to make clothes and comes with a starter mesh. What happened to the days of QBasic and the Complete manual it came with, including Examples of how to use Almost All of the Commands. Arrgh.

There are some 'Free' good looking tutorials out there, it just takes some digging.

Have you seen, "Hexagon Beginner's Tut Part 1"

As for the Free ball or cube 'Primitive' starter thing, I don't know. A Face or complete shirt starter mesh is way beyond me. This is my first day of 'What is that Hexagon' and what is 'D-form in Daz Studio'.

If you guys are still looking for tutorials, try this thread (at least until DAZ fixes the links in the sticky):

    Thanks very much!

    I watched one tute:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrANpbDkN9E

and the author misses some steps such as suddenly you can drag a marquee or lasso a selection; I've downloaded Hexagon 2.5.1.79 this weekend and I can't find the tool. So far I've been shift selecting to manipulate multiple vertices or edges.

Is this me or a bug? There's two little buttons onscreen - one with "rectangle mode" and the other with "lasso mode" but nothing appears on screen to show where or what I'm trying to select until a vertice is highlighted?

when you select a vertex by clicking on it you can right click and get that
I post this with a bit of sarcasm as Hex does not play nice on my pc and it is one of the many dodgy things that may or may not work.
    You may be luckier.

Cool, this will make modeling SO much faster. Thanks for that! (it worked on my Tablet-PC)
