ModernWizard's freebies

Time to give back to the community! I've uploaded my first two freebies to ShareCG today.

The first is The Eyes Have It! Partial Eye Poses for Genesis.

The Eyes Have It!

Daz Studio only

Tested only in Daz Studio Pro 4.6 64 bit.

This is a set of partial eye poses for Genesis, allowing you to easily change the following pose controls for the eyes:

Left-Right
Open-Closed
Squint
Up-Down

There are five poses for every parameter [0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%]. Each pose affects both eyes. However, the poses change only the parameter listed, so you can mix and match poses within this kit or apply them to your other favorite poses to add more expressiveness.

The second is Poses for ryverthorn's Snuffles. I picked up this adorable critter during a recent sale, but didn't find too much support for it, so I decided to make it even cuter with some petlike poses. Now it can sleep on its back, beg, pee, sniff and so much more!

Poses for ryverthorn's Snuffles

Daz Studio only

Tested only in Daz Studio Pro 4.6 64 bit.

PLEASE NOTE: You need to have limits turned off for these poses to work.

This is a set of 12 poses for ryverthorn's standalone figure, Snuffles, available at Renderosity: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/snuffles/76426/

Two poses, -EarsAlert and -EarsAnnoyed, affect only eyes/ears, while the other 10 are full-body poses.

Please let me know if there is any problem with any of these items, especially since this is my first time uploading freebies. Thank you.

A revamp of my first Loud Fabrics series of shaders is up. New and improved, now with bump maps, tiling utilities and some bonus variations on the original designs.

    Daz Studio only

Tested only in Daz Studio Pro 4.6 64 bit.

Loud Fabrics 01 gets better! In this update, there are 16 shader presets for seamless, tiled, boldly printed fabrics with eye-catching patterns: Bluish Blooms 01, Bluish Blooms 02, Broadway Dots 01, Broadway Dots 02, Bubble Yum 01, Bubble Yum 02, Electric Blue Honeycomb, Flaming hearts 01, Flaming Hearts 02, Green Circles on Yellow, Green Circles Inverted, Little Red Bows, Magenta and Lime Dots 01, magenta and Lime Dots 02, Pink and Purple and Pink Pinwheels. Most patterns are replicated from Loud Fabrics 01, but there are a few new ones and variations.

Unlike the original Loud Fabrics 01, these shaders feature bump maps. To make these shaders even easier to play with, I have included a vast array of tiling presets, all the way from 0.25x0.25 to 50.0x50.0. These presets only affect horizontal and vertical tiling, so you can use them on any DS shaders, not just the Loud Fabrics series.

An improvement on Loud Fabrics 01 [the original], Loud Fabrics 03 features bump maps!

These patterns were all generated and tweaked in PatternCooler, Harvey Rayner's awesome free Web-based pattern-generating Web site:

Aliza Hair for Genesis 2 Female

    Daz Studio only

Tested only in Daz Studio Pro 4.6 64 bit.

Created with PhilC's Hair Designer, this is my first

freebie hairstyle, Aliza, a spiky, layered, morphing

hair prop straight out of the 1980s for Genesis 2

Female. Perfect for when G2F wants to cosplay Jareth

the Goblin King from Labyrinth [the inspiration for

    this 'do]! :p

Aliza, which autoparents to G2F's head, is based on the

default figure, so you may need to translate and scale

to fit morphed figures. Aliza has a length morph for

the back, plus a simple movement morph for each side,

as well as a single texture. There are a few material

    zones for greater customization.

After installation, you will find Aliza in My Library >

    People > Genesis 2 Female > Hair > ModernWizard >

    Aliza.

Just so you know, this was a fun experiment, my first

with Hair Designer, not a professional-grade endeavor.

    It's somewhat messy, geometry-wise [especially where I

cruedly deleted all those excess polys], but I hope you

can have some fun playing with it nonetheless.

Use for whatever purposes you like, commercial or non-

commercial. Just don't repackage and call your own.

    Have fun!

    Bokehground Seamless Tile Shaders

    Daz Studio only

Tested only in Daz Studio Pro 4.6 64 bit.

Created with the help of m-ajinah's freebie Night

    Lights PhotoShop brush set [http://m-

    ajinah.deviantart.com/art/Night-Lights-Brush-Set-

106015559], this is a collection of 13 Daz Studio

shaders that provide a bokeh-like look to any surface.

So what are these shaders for?

I initially created these shaders to apply to the

windows of buildings when they appeared in interior

shots and I didn't want to worry about making a whole

exterior view. To me, the bokeh effect suggests sky and

light without taking too much attention away from my

interior scenes or requiring too much effort.

I've also experimented with the application of these

shaders to clothing. The results look like bubbles,

    very playful and unusual.

After installation, you will find these shaders in My

    Library > Shaders > Presets > ModernWizard >

    Bokehground.

Use for whatever purposes you like, commercial or non-

commercial. Just don't repackage and call your own.

    Have fun!

Rococo Dress for Genesis 2 Female: http://www.sharecg.com/v/77509/gallery/21/DAZ-Studio/Chris-Coxs-Rococo-Dress-updated-for-G2F

    Daz Studio only

Tested only in Daz Studio Pro 4.6 64 bit.

Chris Cox's beautiful Rococo Dress, originally created for Victoria 2, Aiko 3, Victoria 3 and Victoria 4, is now available for Genesis 2 Female! With Chris' permission, I have converted and updated the V4 version to fit G2F. The pink texture from the V3 version accompanies the update.

After installation, you will find the Rococo Dress in My Library > People > Genesis 2 Female > Clothing > RococoDressChrisCox.

I also added something extra. All the morphs that Chris originally put in the V4 version are there, plus one that I created: SkirtForSitting. As the name implies, you can use this morph to position the skirt of the dress so that G2F can sit down while wearing it.

To use the sitting morph, apply !DressPoseForSitting.duf to the dress. Then apply !G2FPoseForSitting.duf to G2F, which will adjust the position of her legs only. You can then apply the SkirtForSitting Morph, which can be found under Morphs.

Please note: the sitting morph, which I created entirely in Daz Studio with D-Forms, is strictly an amateur effort and not professional grade at all. As you can see, the morph causes the hem to ripple, especially in the back center, and collide with the floor a bit. Applying a smoothing modifier and/or converting to SubD does make the result look slightly better. However, at least the morph gets the dress in the right position, and [say it with me] you can always fix it in post! ^_^

To download the original Rococo Dress and related files, please see these links, which go directly to Chris Cox's Web site:

A list of other textures for the dress can be found here:

Thank you to the following people who helped out with this freebie:

--Chris Cox, first and foremost, for permitting this update
--SickleYield, whose G2F Dress Rig, improved the conversion over Autofits and added skirt handles
--Rob Kelk, who gave me links to the original Rococo Dress files

Sitting Morph for MEC4D's Queen of Hearts Gown for G2F

    Daz Studio only

Tested only in Daz Studio Pro 4.6 64 bit.

After a hard day of yelling, "Off with her head!" and playing croquet with flamingoes, the Queen of Hearts needs to take a load off. I have crafted a sitting morph for MEC4D's Queen of Hearts Gown for G2F so that the Queen can rest her royal feet.

After installation, you will find a leg pose for G2F in My Library > People > Genesis 2 Female > Clothing > Mec4D > Queen_of_Hearts. The morph SkirtForSitting can be found under Parameters > Morphs.

To use the sitting morph, apply !G2FPoseForSitting.duf to G2F, which will adjust the position of her legs only. You can then apply the SkirtForSitting Morph at 100%.

Please note: the sitting morph, which I created entirely in Daz Studio with D-Forms, is strictly an amateur effort and not professional grade at all. However, at least the morph gets the dress in the right position, and [say it with me] you can always fix it in post! ^_^

Extra Morphs [Including a Sit Morph!] for MartinJFrost's Penny Dreadfull Outfit for G2F

    Daz Studio only

Tested only in Daz Studio Pro 4.6 64 bit.

This package includes 9 morphs to help you work with the Penny Dreadfull skirt in the outfit of the same

name, available at Daz3d, by MartinJFrost. Morphs are CompressBustle, CompressSides, CompressTrain,

ExpandSkirtX, ExpandSkirtZ, LengthenSkirt2, RaiseSides, RaiseTrain and SkirtForSitting. Yes! Now G2F can

sit while wearing this lovely dress!

To make G2F sit in Penny Dreadfull, find the leg pose for G2F, !G2FPoseForSitting.duf, in My Library >

People > Genesis 2 Female > Clothing > Penny Dreadfull. Apply the pose, which will adjust only the

position of her legs. You can then pose the skirt with !SkirtPoseForSitting.duf, also found in My

Library > People > Genesis 2 Female > Clothing > Penny Dreadfull. You can then dial in the morph

SkirtForSitting, found under Parameters > Morphs. ExpandSkirtX, ExpandSkirtZ and LengthenSkirt2 may help

if your character is taller than the default G2F.

Please note: I created all morphs entirely in Daz Studio with D-Forms, so they are strictly an amateur

effort and not professional grade at all.

A big thank you to lee_lhs on the Daz boards, who directed me to a video of a woman demonstrating how to

sit in a similar dress. This video gave me the reference material I needed.

Extra Morphs for Ravenhair's Priestess Outfit for Genesis

    Daz Studio only

Tested only in Daz Studio Pro 4.6 64 bit.

This package includes four morphs -- two for the Priestess Dress, two for the Priestess Robe -- and

one leg pose to help you work with the Priestess Outfit for Genesis, available at Daz3d, by

Ravenhair. One set of morphs is for lengthening the skirt of both the dress and robe. It is named

LengthenSkirt on both pieces, and it can be found under Parameters > Style.

The other set of morphs, plus the included sitting pose for Genesis, help when putting your

character in a seated position. Both dress and robe have a morph called CompressTrainForSitting,

which can be found under Parameters > Moves.

To make Genesis sit in the Priestess Outfit, find the leg pose for Genesis, !Gen1SittingPose.duf, in

My Library > People > Genesis > Clothing > Priestess. Apply the pose, which will adjust only the

position of Genesis' legs. You can then pose the skirt and robe morphs under Moves. Dial up the

Sitting morphs that came with the dress and robe. You can then use the CompressTrainForSitting

morphs on both dress and robe so that Genesis does not get their clothes tangled in their chair

    legs.

Please note: I created all morphs entirely in Daz Studio with D-Forms, so they are strictly an

amateur effort and not professional grade at all.

Here's a shout-out to Arlesienne, who liked my earlier custom morphs enough to request something

similar on clothing for Genesis. Thank you for the compliments and support!

Sit Morph for Neftis' Evil Queen Gown G2F

    Daz Studio only

Tested only in Daz Studio Pro 4.6 64 bit.

Sure, your Evil Queen Gown comes with various

morphs to simulate it blowing in the wind when

she flies, but what do you do when she comes

back to earth? You use the morph and poses in

this freebie so that she can sit down!

After installation, you will find a leg pose

for G2F and a pose for the Evil Queen Gown in

    My Library > People > Genesis 2 Female >

    Clothing > Neftis_Clothing > EvilQueen_Set.

The morph SkirtForSitting can be found under

    Parameters > Actor > Style & Movement.

To use the sitting morph, apply !

    G2FLegPoseForSitting.duf to G2F, which will

adjust the position of her legs only. Then

    apply !DressPoseForSitting.duf to the Evil

Queen Gown. You can then apply the

    SkirtForSitting morph at 100%.

Use for whatever purposes you like, commercial

or non-commercial. Just don't repackage and

    call your own. Have fun!
