Added yet another supporting image to the story.  This one was supposed to have had the robot, Madeline and these two characters all in the scene.  But it became too busy and didn't look good.  The work around was to just focus the moment soon after John caught Lana from falling and see's the dire situation where the robot now has Madeline.

Space Crimes-Death at the Door (Scene 13 of 14)

Uploaded another supporting image for the story.  Turned out mostly how I wanted it to.  But also kind of ended up close to some strange three way love triangle.

Added dforce to parts of the trench coat so that it wrinkled a little more realistically.  But Mesh Grabber was my friend for most everything in this series.

I had to do a side image to keep my sanity and break up the slow monotony.  Too much SC universe stuff kind of gets to me.  This is one of my other series;  Cleopatra Dragon Rider - a more carefree dragon and girl who go on adventures.

Amazing pictures, but why does he wear a belt around the middle of his chest? It looks really weird.

Hey thank you Chris!  The belt around the middle of the chest is a gun holster which you can see a little better in these two images:
    Back side

    Front side

It's still not 100% clear but it will at least make more sense.  The actual pouch that holds the gun isn't visible in either one, or actually in any of my images I've created over the two years I've been exploring and creating the series.

Uploaded a scene I didn't intend to create.  But, Kibosh in the gallery, basically said "you're going to wrap up the story in one more image?"  And I realized that I probably needed one more to tie up the bizzare love triangle.  So this is scene 13.5 out of 14.

Space Crimes-Death at the Door Final

    LINK TO THE GALLERY IMAGE

FINAL IMAGE in the series uploaded today!   Yay!  Funny that it's my independence day from this particular story on America's Independence day.  :)

The original image I was working on but got bored of fit the story much more exactly.  This version depicts John and Madeline together as a couple.  Madeline trusting John so much that she can fall asleep on his shoulder.  Lana, has become so infactuated with John for saving her, that she openly does this to make John feel uncomfortable.   She thinks that if she can make him feel something, she can hook him.

Again, this image doesn't follow the story exactly but is built upon the principles in the story.

NOTE: I cannot edit the original post any longer.  The DAZ forum has now lowered the maximum amount of text that can be added into a post.  Simply editing the post and then saving it says I've exceeded the maximum amount of characters I can do by 1367!!  So this last post will have to do as the final to the novel.

You are such a talented creator! You've done excellent work on this story and the illustrations. I just love the posing and expressions on this latest image. The little details of the food, steam on the coffee, waitress coming by for a refill, etc. really add to the image.

I love your illustrations so much! I'm a real sucker for the old, artfully shot black and white movies and you've got it all done so perfectly.  I also preferred reading the story in the forum rather than piecemeal via your gallery. (My attention span can be ridiculous...)  I think the term you're looking for is more like 'Light Novel' than graphic novel, ~50k stories with illustrations.

Are you gonna put these on a website at all, or are you gonna publish them once you've edited them?  (Just so I can set aside the cash now. wink )

Thank you so much barbult!  I'm glad that you enjoyed it and thank you for taking the time to crunch through the story.

Thank you so kindly Pax Asteriae!! Aaah thank you so much for explaining "light novel" with the link to boot!  I'm so uncultured that when I began I was wondering what is a comic book with hardly any images and not very long?  Many of my searches seemed to give slightly different answers but light novel seems to be exactly what it is.

Put them together in one place?  Not sure... I love the Daz community which is a smaller group than say Deviantart.  But I find with DA that you have to network the heck out of yourself there to get any traction IMO.  I did upload three or four images there but very little interest so I let it go for now.  I'll revisit it one day.

I thank you very much and am glad that you too enjoyed the story/imagery.
